When I arrive to photograph a birth, I carry not only my professional camera gear and years of photography experience, but also my deep love for home birth and the habit of praying under my breath. I aim to serve you in your labor + birth by holding space with respect and trust, quietly observing, and creating art out of your love story.

Birth Doula
INVESTMENT: $1200
The way I serve and support women as a doula is best described as “birth sister.” I want to truly get to know you, learn what makes your heart beat, and hear all your dreams and desires for birth. I offer a listening ear and a calming presence for anything you might need to work through or discuss throughout your childbearing journey. I’m here to walk with you as you navigate all the changes. I’m here to hold your hand and look you in the eye, reminding you of how capable you are.
I fully believe that every woman has the ability to birth her baby, and that that strength and intuition is already inside of you. So you don’t need me. But you also don’t have to walk through this alone.

Doula Services + birth photography bundle

The Doulatog bundle is for mamas who want me to attend your birth as a birth sister AND a photographer creating art along the way. This is my favorite way to serve in birth - jumping back and forth between holding hands and snapping pictures that I know you will treasure forever.

What are the next steps if I want you at my birth?
Choosing your birth team should be a thoughtful, intentional process, and I highly encourage prayerfully pondering each individual that you invite into your birth space. If you decide that you'd like me to attend your birth (after we've met and connected), then your deposit fee will secure your spot on my calendar. Then, we'll spend the rest of your pregnancy getting to know each other better and preparing for the big day!
When should I hire a birth photographer or doula?
As long as I have an open spot on my calendar, then there's no such thing as "too late" in pregnancy to hire me as a birth attendant. However, I love to spend intentional time during your pregnancy to grow our relationship and trust of one another, so the more time the better! For those mamas who do hire me last minute, I love to meet up even more frequently so we can make up for lost time and really get on the same page.
What are prenatal meetings like?
I love to offer an unlimited amount of prenatals to my birth clients, because those visits are when we really get to know each other. Whether it’s meeting up for coffee, bringing our kids to the park, antique shopping, or having a relaxed dinner, I am looking forward to spending time with you!
Do you help with postpartum planning?
When you hire me as your birth doula, I'm all yours to help bounce around ideas, plan for birth, postpartum, newborn care, and all the things. Postpartum planning is one of my favorite things to talk about with new moms because I believe that it's severely underappreciated in our society! We usually spend at least one prenatal meetings planning out postpartum things, and I'd love to help you plan a meal prep day as well if you'd like to gather some friends and stock your freezer.
Do you include childbirth education in your doula support package?
Birth education had a huge impact on me in my own mothering journey, and it's something I am excited and passionate about! I am currently working on putting together group classes held locally, as well individual in-home coaching sessions. In the meantime, I'm including it in my doula package!
Do you offer any discounts if I want both birth services and a photo session?
Yes, all birth clients will receive a 10% discount off any story sessions or photo packages as a thank you!
