I have long since abandoned the idea that the memories we treasure most are the ones where everyone is dressed smooth and proper, and everything goes as planned. Ever since I started experimenting with my first film camera as a teenager, my heart has been pulled toward the raw, messy, unfiltered moments, because I believe that is where the true beauty of this life exists. My approach to photographing is to document each moment the way it is right now, before it changes forever.
My goal for our time together is that you would feel comfortable and free, effortlessly present in the moment. And my desire is that your images will evoke nostalgia and sweet memories for years to come, like a beautifully treasured time capsule.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you photograph both outdoor and in home sessions?
We have some amazing outdoor locations in and around Winston Salem, and I love to capture your photos in the beauty of NC during May through November. In home sessions are much more flexible and can work throughout most of the year.
Can the whole family be included in our newborn or maternity session?
Absolutely! All story sessions include immediate family members. I love to document siblings holding their fresh new siblings (or loving on mama's belly!)
What age is best for newborn sessions?
The sweet spot for newborn sessions is 1-2 weeks so they're still super sleepy and easy to settle. But newborn sessions can be booked up until the baby is 6 weeks old.
How far along should I be for my maternity session?
Anywhere from 25-35 weeks is ideal
Do you offer shorter sessions?
I do offer "short story" mini sessions a few times a year, but not on an individual basis.
Full story sessions are best, because we will have enough time to capture the full story of your family without being rushed.
Do I get a discount on photo sessions if I'm already a birth client?
Yes, all birth clients will receive a 10% discount off any story sessions or photo packages as a thank you!
